TUCP: Where do we go from here?
WORKERS and their families are eager to know from President Rodrigo Duterte himself “where and how do we go from here amid the adversity caused by the pandemic economic amd health crises?”, said Alan Tanjusay, spokesperson of the Associated Labor Unions-Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (ALU-TUCP).
Working people are keen to hear President Duterte speak as he addresses the Job Summit today in response to the National Employment Recovery Strategy (NERS) agenda of business and labor sectors, he said.
The NERS is a government strategy to “safely re-open the economy” amid the pandemic.
Benedicto Yujuico of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce (PCCI) will present the business sector agenda while TUCP President and TUCP Party-list Rep. Raymond Mendoza will present for the labor sector.
During the summit meeting, Duterte is expected to sign the NERS as an executive order before his keynote address.
