Thousands of jobs offered at Mega Job Fair in Caloocan
ALMOST a hundred applicants were hired on the spot in the Mega Job Fair spearheaded by the city government of Caloocan in partnership with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and SM Super Malls yesterday at SM Grand Central.
Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan said thousands of job opportunities for local employment were offered by 22 partner private companies who participated in the job fair.
The mega job fair was in line with the 62th Cityhood Anniversary and was all part of Mayor Along’s goal of finding income-generating programs for Caloocan citizens.
The jobs offered include sales staff, clerk, cashiers, baggers, factory workers, accounting staff, customer service staff, delivery riders, logistic staff, information technology support, encoders, marketing staff, and store leaders/managers.
Mayor Along likewise encouraged his constituents to take advantage of the employment opportunities present during the event but assured everyone that more job fairs and livelihood programs will be held by the city government in the coming weeks.
