Held at SB Park in Brgy. Batasan Hills, Go and his team distributed grocery packs, vitamins, snacks, and masks to 500 indigent residents. They also gave select individuals new pairs of shoes, cellular phones, bicycles, and balls for basketball and volleyball.

Meanwhile, the Department of Social Welfare and Development extended its support by providing financial assistance to qualified residents.

The senator was accompanied by Councilor Mikey Belmonte. Furthermore, through his speech, Go acknowledged the hard work of other local officials including, Congressman Ralph Tulfo and city officials such as Mayor Joy Belmonte, Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, and Councilor Godie Liban, among others.

As Chair of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, Go also encouraged the public to avail of medical assistance from any of the 11 Malasakit Centers in the city.

Malasakit Centers in Quezon City are located at Lung Center of the Philippines, Novaliches District Hospital, Philippine Heart Center, Philippine Children’s Medical Center, National Kidney and Transplant Institute, East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC), Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC), Philippine Orthopedic Center, National Children’s Hospital, Philippine National Police General Hospital, and Quirino Memorial Medical Center (QMMC).

“Sa mga pasyente, lapitan niyo lang ang Malasakit Center dahil para ‘to sa inyo. Kung may hospital bill kayo, nandiyan ang mga ahensya ng gobyerno na tutulong para mabayaran ito,” said Go.

Senator Go also led the inauguration of two new multipurpose buildings in Barangays Bagong Silangan and Commonwealth.

He construction of the multipurpose buildings will provide a space for various activities, such as community meetings, social gatherings, and other events. These public infrastructures will not only improve the quality of life of the residents in these barangays but will also contribute to the promotion of unity and camaraderie among them.
