THE Supreme Court (SC) has announced that the results of 2022 digitized and localized Bar Examinations will be released on April 14, 2023.

The announcement will follow the SC special en banc session, with successful Bar passers who garnered the 30 highest total averages, as well as the law schools which obtained the five highest Bar passers’ percentages, also set to be announced.

Further details on the oath-taking and signing of the roll scheduled on May 2, 2023, will be announced in due course.

Last November, 9,183 out of 10,006 applicants, or 91.77% of Bar examinees, completed the four-day 2022 Bar exams held across 14 testing centers nationwide.

This year’s online and regionalized Bar examinations marked the second time that the SC conducted such tests, with the first one taking place in 2020 and 2021 simultaneously, as the 2020 exams were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a recent advisory, the SC said that Bar passers are required to pay P5,000 for the oath-taking and roll signing thereafter.

Payment instructions will be sent to the registered email accounts of the Bar passers. In addition, Bar passers are expected to dress appropriately in proper court attire and bring their black toga for the oath-taking ceremony.

Guests attending the event are also required to wear proper business attire. The advisory strictly prohibits guests from wearing shorts, denim pants/skirts, rubber shoes, slippers, and shirts without collars.
