THE Supreme Court (SC), through the Office of the 2022 Bar Chairperson, on Monday, extended the deadline for submitting applications for the Bar exams to August 15, 2022, from its original deadline of July 15, 2022.

In Bar Bulletin No. 4, S. 2022, signed by the 2022 Bar chair, SC Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa, the high court considered the different academic calendars of law schools in the country as the basis for extending the deadline.

“The Court was, however, informed that due to the variance in the academic calendars of the various law schools in the country, some law schools will close their academic year later than others and later than the close of the original application period,” the Bar bulletin read.

“In order to give all interested law graduates ample time to prepare and submit their documentary requirements while still ensuring that the different offices of the Supreme Court will have enough time to process and verify the adequacy of the applications to be received, the application period is hereby extended to August 15, 2022,” it added.

Applicants must register in Bar PLUS (Bar Personalized Login Unified System), the dedicated application platform for Bar examinees.

It is a homegrown online application system through which applicants will submit their verified petition, other required documents, and information, including proof of payment of the Bar application fee.

Bar PLUS was created to facilitate safe, equitable, and inclusive examinations. All potential examinees will submit their applications digitally and through the mail.
