Sara pays tribute to Yolanda victims, vows to improve PH disaster response
LAKAS-CMD vice presidential aspirant and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte paid tribute to Yolanda victims early evening Thursday at the Yolanda Commemorative Memorial, Tacloban Convention Center in Tacloban City.
Duterte vowed to work on improving the country’s disaster response as she offered prayers and flowers to the Yolanda victims.
Joining Duterte were House Majority Leader and Leyte 1st District Rep. Martin G. Romualdez, Mayor Alfred Romualdez, vice mayoralty aspirant Raymund Romualdez, former Sen. Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada, and other key leaders of parallel groups supporting Duterte and Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) presidential hopeful Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.
Duterte also led the inauguration of the BBM-Sara UniTeam Headquarters located at the Tingog party-list Community Center in Tacloban City.
