Gravity Co., Ltd., a leading developer and publisher of online and mobile games, announces the release of their newest online game:

Ragnarok Origin that will be launched on April 6, 2023 in Southeast Asia.

Selected media personalities and bloggers were also treated to fun activities with prizes from brand partners like Razer Gold and Huawei during the formal launch at The Fifth in Rockwell Makati last Monday night.

Among the leading personalities present were popular actress Yassi Pressman, who is the Brand Ambassador of Ragnarok Origin in the country. and Philippine Pop girl group MNL48.

Pressman was joined by Gravity Game Chairman-COO and Gravity Game Hub CEO Yoshimori Kitamura, Gravity Game Hub COO Robin Ng, and Harry Choi, Gravity Game Hub President, who were very excited about the spread of games throughout Southeast Asia.

Witness the enhanced and improved nearly 20-year-old mobile game Ragnarok Origin that will featured more competitive tournaments and a wider game reach during its initial launch in the Philippines before expanding to the Southeast region Asia.

“It has been 20 years since Ragnarok Online launched a service in Southeast Asia, i would like to extend my great gratitude to all the RO players who helped Ragnarok Online grow and support its service in Southeast Asia,” said Kitamura.

“Ragnarok Origin surpassed three million pre-registration in the shortest period of time within our Ragnarok Online IP history. This is a title that many players have for and I’m very happy about it. Please look forward to the Ragnarok Online service on April 6,” added Kitamura.

Pressman, who is Ginebra Calendar Girl 2023, not only has a large social media followers but is known for various skills such as modeling, acting and singing. She is not only a gamer but also a dedicated fan of RO.

.. The upcoming Ragnarok Origin will feature games in the Odin Cup, which is a massive player game, the five-player Thor Cup, the 10-player Loki Cup and the higher-level Valkyrie Cup which also has five players per team.

The leaders of Gravity Hub hope that after the game is distributed throughout Southeast Asia, the mobile game will be included in the contested titles in the biennial Southeast Asian Games as it also prepares to hold the Asian Championships.

The game will be available on April 6 on the App Store, Google Play, Huawei AppGallery, OPPO App Market, and ROO website (PC client).
