NAGTATAGO sa Pilipinas si Kingdom of Jesus Christ Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

Sa pulong balitaan sa Malakanyang sinabi ni Department of Justice Assistant Secretary at spokesperson Mico Clavano na nanatiling at-large si Quiboloy.

Wanted si Quiboloy sa US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) dahil sa kasong sex trafficking.

May warrant of arrest na rin si Quiboloy dahil sa mga kasong sexual at child abuse sa Davao City.

“The respondent, or the accused [Quiboloy] has to submit his person to the court for the court to be able to assert its jurisdiction and to subject him to other processes under the law,” pahayag ni Clavano.

“Obviously he’s still at large so the law enforcement is still on the lookout and they’ve continued the operations to be able to arrest on the basis of the warrants that have been issued by the court,” dagdag ni Clavano.

Tinalakay na rin aniya ng prosskusyon ang pagpapalabas ng hold departure order laban kay Quiboloy.

“So, once you have a respondent or an accused, that is a flight risk especially given the resources that this person has, then the prosecutors are very diligent in making sure that that doesn’t happen ‘no – that the accused is able to leave the country without actually facing the allegations in the proper forum,” pahayag ni Clavano.

Inilagay na aniya ng Bureau of Immigration sa lookout lis si Quiboloy.

Pinagbigyan na rin ng Korte Suprema ang hiling ng Department of Justice na mailipat sa Pasig City ang mga kasong sexual at child abuse ni Quiboloy sa Davao City.

Pero kalaunan ay sinabi ni Clavano na imbes na sa Pasig ay maaaring sa Quezon City na ilipat ang mga kaso dahil congested na sa Pasig City.

Unang hiniling ng DOJ sa Supreme Court na mailipat ang mga kaso para isang team ng prosecutor na lang ang humawak dito.

Ang nasabing mga kaso ni Quiboloy sa Davao City ay may kaugnayan sa non-bailable qualified human trafficking cases nito sa Pasig City.

Ayon sa DOJ, sakaling mahanap si Quiboloy ay dapat i-transport ito sa Metro Manila para dito ikulong at harapin ang kanyang mga kaso.
