Plane gets stuck at NAIA’s grassy portion
NINOY Aquino International Airport (NAIA) officials immediately responded after a Saudia Airline Boeing 777 Aircraft got stuck at the Echo 5 Taxiway of NAIA during landing.
NAIA General Manager Ed Monreal said nobody was reported injured. An emergency and medical team managed to disembarkall 398 passengers of the plane.
The Saudia Airlines flight from Riyad Dliggt SV 863 arrived 1:47 p.m. Monday. However, its landing gear got stuck at the grassy portion of Taxiway Echo 5.
The NAIA management said not a single flight was delayed and the runway of the Airport remained open and operational.
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said they are still investigating the incident.
