Pasay City gov’t gets ‘Magiting na Lingkod’ award

THE Inter-Agency Council for Traffic (IACT) has recognized the Pasay City government for ensuring road user safety and security at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

IACT chief Charlie Apolinario Del Rosario recently presented the recognition at MAAX Auditorium in SM Mall of Asia Complex which Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano’s Chief of Staff Peter Eric Pardo, received the award.

Pardo acknowledged the recognition of the IACT, saying the local government of Pasay City, through the direction of Mayor Emi Calixto Rubiano, utilized all the resources to aid the commuting public and all road users during the lockdowns and pandemic restrictions.

The IACT recognized the bravery of the operatives and reliable partner sectors of the national government and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) for displaying heroism in saving lives, maintaining security, and demonstrating loyalty during the pandemic.

In her message relayed by Pardo, Mayor Emi shared the recognition to its constituents and officials of the City of Pasay — from the barangay level up to the highest in command — who contributed their time, efforts, and dedication during a hard time of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Pasay City was awarded the IACT of Magiting na Lingkod Award for its exemplary performance and invaluable contribution at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic in ensuring the safety and security of all Filipino road users.
