Pa, son shot in San Pablo City home
A 37-YEAR-OLD farmer on Tuesday night was killed while his 60-year-old father was seriously injured after being shot in their house in Bgy. San Ignacio San Pablo City, Laguna.
A report to Laguna OIC Provincial Director Col. Gauvin Mel Unos identified the fatality as Joseph Cascabel Ongriano.
Ongriano’s father, Renan Cascabel Ongriano, is being treated at the San Pablo City General Hospital.
San Pablo City police chief Lt. Col. Wilhelmino Saldivar Jr. said the gunman, also a resident of the village, fled after the attack.
An investigation showed the victims were conversing in the porch of their house when shot at 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
An investigation is ongoing.
