Oil prices up again
FOR three consecutive weeks, local oil firms implemented another increase in prices of their petroleum products effective today, Tuesday.
Major oil companies Pilipinas Shell and Petron Corporation adjust their gasoline products by P0.20 centavos per liter, while kerosene and diesel by P0.35 centavos per liter effective at 6 a.m. Tuesday while Chevron Corporation imposed the same price adjustments much earlier at 12:01 a.m.
Thai-led PTT Philippines, Petro Gazz, Total Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum and Unioil also adjusted their diesel products upward by P0.35 centavos per liter and gasoline by P0.20 centavos per liter at 6 a.m. today, Tuesday while Clean Fuel also follow suit effective at 4:01 p.m.
Oil industry players said the adjustments reflect the movements in the international oil market.
