JULIENNE ‘Jill’ Ejercito, at first glance, could easily land a role on TV, and movies. But the 15-year-old girl at this stage is focused on her passion: singing.

Of course, her family name rings a bell, a loud one at that because Jill is the youngest daughter of Sen. Jinggoy Ejercito.

And for her break, she is given the chance to sing the jingle for Sen. Jinggoy’s TV commercial (TVC).

What was her reaction when she learned that she was tapped to sing it?

“Of course, I felt so happy and excited when my mom (Precy Vitug-Ejercito) told me that I was going to sing my dad’s campaign song,” the doe-eyed Jill said.

She immediately sought her Kuya Julian’s help, as he’s technically savvy when it comes to recording.

The heartwarming song which envelops the TVC’s theme about resiliency has sent the message through the hearts of the Filipino masses.

Born March 7, 2006, Jill is also into photography and dancing. While traveling is also in her list of things she loves to do, the pandemic has made her set it aside for a while.

Now in Grade 10, Jill started to develop her passion for singing when she was six. Jill, like other girls her age, has idols like Moira de la Torre and Zack Tabuldo, whom she dreams of having collaborations with in the future.

Is she closing her doors to acting? “No naman, but music is really my passion so ito muna.”

Jill looks up to Jodi Sta. Maria and Bea Alonzo as her icon actresses.

How will she describe Sen Jinggoy as a father? “Makulit at mapagmahal.”
