SYNERGY NG EXECUTIVE, HOR – Kumpiyansa si Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co na ang “cooperation, unity, at synergy” sa pagitan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez ang “best asset of this current administration. No question about it.”

KUMPIYANSA si Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co, ang pangulo ng Party-list Coalition Foundation, na magpapatuloy ang magandang tulungan ng Kamara de Representantes, sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, at Executive department sa ikalawang regular session ng 19th Congress.
“We were elected to uplift the lives of our constituents and so far, the House has followed President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.’s Agenda for Peace and Prosperity to a tee. The House members who are true to this cause won’t let any political noise derail the remarkable synergy that the legislature and executive currently have,” ani Co, chairman ng House Committee on Appropriations.
Ayon kay Co, patunay sa magandang synergy o kolaborasyong ito ang pag-apruba ng Kamara de Representantes sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa ng 33 sa 42 panukalang batas na hiniling ng Malacañang na bigyang prayoridad ang pag-apruba.
Ang mga panukalang ito ay marahan umanong pinag-aralan ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa tulong ng mga piling mambabatas kasama si Speaker Romualdez upang magpatuloy ang pag-angat ng ekonomiya at matulungan ang mga mahihirap na Pilipino.
“This cooperation, unity, and synergy between two of our top leaders is the best asset of this current administration. No question about it,” sabi ni Co.
Iginiit ni Co na alam ni Romualdez at ng mahigit 300 miyembro ng Kamara de Representantes na marami pang kailangang gawin para makamit ang inaasam na maayos na buhay para sa mga Pilipino.
“With President Marcos about to deliver his second State of the Nation Address (SONA) next month, I expect the Speaker to already know whether or not more priority measures will be announced by the Chief Executive. I would even bet the Speaker is already paving the way for meaningful discussions on these measures, even during this congressional break,” dagdag pa ni Co.
Bago ang sine die adjournment noong nakaraang buwan, hinamon ni Romualdez, ang kinatawan ng unang distrito ng Leyte at ang pangulo ng Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) party, ang mga kapwa nito mambabatas na ipagpatuloy ang pagtaguyod sa kapakanan ng mga Pilipino.
Pinuri rin ni Romualdez ang kanyang mga kasamahan sa “impressive performance” na ipinakita ng Kamara wala pang isang taon mula ng sila ay manungkulan. Naiproseso ng Kamara ang 9,600 na panukala at naipasa na ang 577 sa mga ito.
“Congratulations to everyone for this impressive performance. You did not take your jobs lightly. You conducted yourselves with a sense of pride, professionalism and responsibility. You have carried out your individual roles with zest, making sure that you serve as effective voices of your respective constituents,” sabi ni Speaker Romualdez.
