Mandanas discusses UHC
THE Batangas Philhealth (Philippine Health Insurance Corporation) Regional Office 4-B discussed the implementation of the Universal Health Care (UHC) Act in the province of Batangas and even “nationwide” held at Provincial Auditorium Capitol Compound, Batangas City, last June 27.
Governor Dodo Mandanas gave a message on the “good” relations and cooperation of Philhealth in the province.
Senior Vice President, Special Assignment on UHC Policy Development PRO-4B Dr. Israel Francis Pargas discussed the processes, implementation, and status of the UHC.
There was also an open forum to clarify the questions of the participants.
Also present were Provincial Health Officer Dr. Rosvilinda Ozaeta and staff of the Provincial Health Office, Cirilo C. Balmaceda Field Operations Division Chief, and several representatives from various PhilHealth-accredited hospitals in the province.
