Man killed by PNR train
A MAN got killed after being run over by the Philippine National Railways (PNR) while crossing the railroad tracks in Tondo, Manila early yesterday morning.
Initial investigation by the Manila Police District (MPD)-Jose Abad Santos Police Station 7 showed the incident occurred at around 4:20 a.m. along Hermosa Street in Tondo.
The victim, identified as Walter Orbase, 36, of Tondo, was said to be crossing the tracks and did not notice the approaching train that was on the northbound lane.
The victim was sideswiped and run over, killing him instantly.
