POLICE arrested a jobless man in possession of a gun and ammo while serving a search warrant at his residence in Barangay Pook ni Banal, San Pascual, Batangas on Tuesday.

San Pascual Municipal Police Station (MPS) Chief P/Maj. Recaredo D. Dalisay identified the suspect as a 29-year-old jobless and a resident of the said barangay.

Around 12:45 p.m. on January 31, personnel of San Pascual MPS led by Dalisay served a search warrant against the suspect issued by Presiding Judge Amiel Raymond O. Pargas, of the Municipal Trial Court (MTC) of San Pascual, Batangas dated January 30, 2023.

The suspect failed to present any legal documents that he is authorized to own or possess any firearms and ammunition, which prompted the seizing officer to arrest him.
