Isko gives PEI to Manila employees
MANILA Mayor and Aksyon Demokratiko presidential bet Isko Moreno has signed Ordinance No. 8795 granting a total of P45,750,000 in Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI).
Moreno said the budget covers employes who are on regular status as well as contract of service and job order employees and the incentive will be given in time for Christmas.
“This is our simple way of saying thank you for all the effort and sacrifices you have offered this year in the name of public service,” he said.
Moreno also announced that the city government jas completed distributing its “Pamaskong Handog sa bawat Pamilyang Manilenyo” on Thursday.
“Maraming salamat po kina City Engineer Armand Andres, Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau chief Dennis Viaje at Department of Public Services head Kenneth Amurao at sa mga bumubuo ng kanilang tanggapan sa inyong sipag at malasakit para sa ating mga kababayan.Umasa po kayo mga minamahal naming mga Batang Maynila na tuloy-tuloy po ang aming mabilis na pagkilos ni Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna para ipadama sa inyo na tuloy at masagana ang Pasko sa Maynila!,” Moreno said.
The Christmas packages were delivered to the 896 barangays in Manila and covers all of at least 700,000 families in the city. They contain basic food items that are usually put on the table during Christmas eve.
