Hand grenade seized from ‘robber’ in QC
POLICEMEN recovered a hand grenade from a 25-year-old man who allegedly robbed a woman of P200 in Quezon City on Monday night.
The victim, a 24-year-old woman, was on her way home when suspect Resty Millamina robbed her at the corner of Sta. Catalina and Mayor streets in Barangay Maharlika at around 9 p.m.
The victim told police the suspect, who was riding a motorcycle, grabbed her pouch which contained P200 in cash as well as identification and debit cards.
Millamina sped off towards Mayon Street but he was cornered by policemen from the Eastwood police station 12.
Apart from the victim’s pouch, police also found a hand grenade from the suspect.
The suspect is being held on charges of robbery and possession of an explosive device.
