Guns, explosives seized in Batangas police search
CAMP Gen. Miguel Malvar, Batangas — Police confiscated guns, ammunition and fragmentation grenades during the implementation of a search warrant Saturday afternoon at a residence in Sitio Marecacawan, Bgy. Quipot, San Juan, Batangas.
A report of the Batangas police director said the suspect is a 37-year-old native of Davao City and lives in Bgy. Marecacawan.
Seized from the suspect’s home were a 5.56 rifle Colt, Cal. 9mm pistol, Cal 9mm Jericho, Armscor Cal. 40 pistols, magazines, ammunition of rifle grenade with tracing bullet, MK 2 hand grenade fragmentation, M26A2 hand grenade fragmentation, and other equipment.
The suspect is allegedly a member of a criminal group operating in the 4th District of Batangas.
