Ex-con back to jail over illegal drugs
A FORMER convict who served more than four years in jail was sent back to prison after he was nabbed for the third time by Eastern Police District -District Drug Enforcement Unit ( EPD- DDEU) during a buy-bust operation in Pasig City.
Eastern Police District (EPD) director PBrig. General Wilson Asueta said suspect Army Hilado, 27, of Esguerra St., Villa Monique, in Bgy Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, was arrested operatives of DDEU headed by Major Darwin Guerrero selling illegal drugs in Pasig Mega Market Food Court, Bgy. San Nicolas Pasig City, at around 5:30 pm.
The suspect had served time in jail for more than four years for illegal possession of illegal drugs in 2018 and was released after posting bail.
After several months he was collared anew for violation of illegal drugs and was released this April 2023 after he applied for probation.
But he resumed illegal drug activity and his name was listed in Regional Top Priority Target High Value Individual ranked number 5.
