Ex-BSF, 2 others nabbed for illegal drugs
A FORMER member of Barangay Security Force (BSF), along with two others, were collared and seized nearly P180,000 worth of illegal drugs following an operation by Eastern Police District-District Drug Enforcement Unit (EPD-DDEU) inside a suspected “drug den” in Pasig City Tuesday early morning.
P/Major Darwin Guerrero, DDEU chief, said the suspect, a former BSF at Barangay Pineda, and two other male suspects were arrested during the buy-bust operation.
The trio was nabbed after the DDEU team conducted buy-bust at the home of one of the arrested suspects in Purok B, Bgy. Pineda, at around 1 a.m., May 9.
The operation was based on the information received that the former barangay worker and his cohorts were using the house as a selling point or drug den.
The former BSF member was the primary target of the operation, and upon giving a shabu to a poseur-buyer, he was immediately arrested, including the two other suspects inside the drug den.
Recovered were five plastic sachets of shabu weighing 26 grams with a street value of P176,800.
The arrested suspects are now detained and facing charges of illegal drugs.
