Free Maintenance Medicines for Muntinlupa Senior Citizens

The City Government of Muntinlupa recently launched program, “Love ko si Lolo, Love ko si Lola, Libreng Gamot para sa Senior Citizens” (I Love Grandpa, I Love Grandma: Free Medicine for Senior Citizens), by offering them free maintenance medications for diabetes and hypertension.

The program is in line with Mayor Ruffy Biazon’s 7K Agenda which prioritizes the health and well-being of its senior citizens. Recognizing the ever-increasing costs associated with managing conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, the City Government has allocated funds to provide essential medicines including losartan, amlodipine, and metformin.

Eligible individuals can visit their nearest Barangay Health Center on designated days or head to the Office of Senior Citizens’ Affairs (OSCA) in Bayanan or the Kalingang Munti Action Center (KMAC) at City Hall during regular working hours.

Applicants are required to bring their OSCA ID or any valid identification card that verifies their current address and birthdate. Additionally, they must provide both the original and a photocopy of a prescription for their maintenance medicine issued within the past three months.
