A 28-YEAR-OLD electrician-turned “high-value drug target” in Cagayan Valley was arrested by undercover officers in an anti-narcotics operation in Bayombong, Nueva Viscaya, Police Regional Office 2 director Brig. Gen.l Steve Ludan said.
Rowell Prado alias “Boyaks” yielded three heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu, a marked P1,000 bill paid to him by a poseur, and a motorcycle during the sting.
Ludan described the suspect as a major drug personality in Cagayan Valley, who has been in the priority list of the PRO2 and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, prior to his arrest in Mangabat St., Purok 4, Bgy. Bonfal Proper in Bayombong town.
The suspect is being held at the Bayombong Municipal Police Station lock-up facility, facing a non-bailable case for sale and possession of prohibited drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
