Dyip strike back

TERRAFIRMA Dyip drew big games from the dynamic duo of Juami Tiongson and Javier Gomez De Liano to bring down Blackwater Bossing, 97-87, and barge into the win column in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City on Wednesday.

Tiongson showcased his skills with 25 points on 9-of-20 shooting, on top of eight assists, three rebounds, and two steals in 32 minutes of play.

Not to be outdone, De Liano contributed 17 points and five rebounds for the Dyip of coach Johnedel Cardel.

Import Thomas De Thaey also played well as he delivered a double-double performance of 15 points on 6-of-14 shooting and 12 rebounds in 42 minutes of action.

Additionally, Kemark Cariño made a significant contribution with 10 points and nine rebounds.

Mike Ayonayon spearheaded Blackwater’s effort, contributing 16 points.

Puerto zrican import Chris Ortiz had a commendable performance with 15 points on 6-of-16 shooting, along with 11 rebounds and six assists in 41 minutes on the court.

Rey Suerte added 13 points, while Michael DiGregorio chipped in with 11 points.
