NAGKAISA ang Department of Energy (DOE) at Presidential Communications Office (PCO) sa “You have the Power” campaign na naglalayong taasan ang kamalayan ng taong bayan sa pagtitipid sa paggamit ng kuryente.

Ayon kay Director Patrick Aquino ng Energy Utilization and Management Bureau, higit na tututulan ng kanilang hanay ang mga kabataan para maging advocates sa sustainable practices sa kani-kanilang mga komunidad.

Katuwang ng DOE at PCO ang United States Agency for International Development (USAID) sa programa na inilunsad sa Philippines Science High School (PSHS) main campus sa Quezon City.

“The “You have the Power” campaign is one of the initiatives of the DOE and the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) that serves as an ignition of empowerment, paving the way for a greener, more energy-efficient Philippines,” pahayag ni Aquino.

Bibigyan ng sapat na edukasyon ang publiko sa pagtataguyod sa sustainability, pagtitipid sa kuryente at pangangalaga sa kalikasan para sa susunod na henerayson.

“The campaign aims to educate and provide information in promoting sustainability and energy efficiency and conservation practices, no matter how big or small. This campaign aims to educate the public that energy efficiency and conservation is an essential part in preserving the environment for the future generations,” pahayag ni Aquino.
