SENATORS slammed China’s aggressive move against the Philippine vessel after the latest water cannon attack that directly hitting our Philippine flag, as they described the scenario as “very painful and very insulting.”

Senator Joseph Victor Ejercito who was very vocal against China said this latest incident only shows how cruel and uncivilized these Chinese Coastguard for relentlessly bullying our Philippine Coast guard.

“Painful to see the Philippine Flag on the Philippine Coast Guard vessel being water cannoned by bigger Chinese Coast Guard Ships,” Ejercito posted on X (former Twitter).

Obviously piqued, Senator Francis Tolentino said it is high time Filipinos considered using water cannons to retaliate against China’s action in the West Philippine Sea.

Tolentino said it is time for an “eye for an eye” and ” a tooth for a tooth” drastic move with of course the Presidential directive and approval.

Tolentino expressed belief that this action taken by the Chinese vessel were not merely a decision made by the commander of the Chinese vessel but a “go signal by the higher authorities from China were given and is considered a state action.”

Senator Jose Jinggoy Estrada condemned this recent move saying this is unacceptable and must be stopped immediately.

“We strongly condemn the continuous aggressive acions of the Chinese naval forces that put the lives of fellow Filipinos at risk by resorting to water cannons,” Estrada said who is the chairperson of the Senate Committee on National Defense and Security.
