CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon said at least 1,135 individuals were arrested and nearly P400,000 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated in a two-day region-wide campaign against wanted persons and illegal drugs.

De Leon said of the 1,135 arrested individuals, 62 have standing warrants of arrest while 61 were nabbed for illegal drugs, 81 for illegal gambling, two for carnapping and two for Illegal logging.

The police also confiscated 58.5 grams of shabu with Dangerous Drugs Board value amounting to P398,404, 9.23 grams of marijuana, 11 assorted firearms and P17,160 cash bets.

“We will continue to triple, if not double our efforts to arrest all wanted criminals and put them behind bars and fight all kinds of illegal drugs and activities in Central Luzon to attain a safer place to live, work and do business,” De Leon said.
