A CHINESE national who just got out of jail after serving his sentence for a drug case was killed in an ambush Monday evening in Paranaque City.

Wang Teng Shou, of legal age and a resident of Malate, Manila, succumbed to bullet wounds in the body while undergoing treatment at the Paranaque Doctor’s Hospital.

An initial report received by the Southern Police District (SPD) showed the victim was fetched by Gina Rubiato, a paralegal officer of the KRT law firm which handled the victim’s drug case, from the Metro Manila District Jail Annex 2 in Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City after serving his sentence.

The two boarded a taxi (WVO-664) driven by Noel Cerrada, 57.

While the cab was traversing Dona Soledad Avenue in Brgy. Don Bosco, Paranaque City at around 6:50 p.m. on their way to Adriatico Street, Malate, Manila, unidentified suspects blocked their path in front of Skyway beside Automobilico and shot the victim repeatedly, hitting him in the body.

Paranaque police are still conducting investigation to determine the motive behind the incident while a follow-up operation for possible identification and arrest of the suspects is still ongoing.
