Celebrities vow support for BBM-Sara UniTeam
WELL-KNOWN comedian Archie Alemania, some members of the group Hagibis, and even veteran Filipino rock singer Mike Hanopol have joined the ranks of showbiz personalities who support the BBM-Sara UniTeam.
Local artists are increasingly voicing support for presidential candidate Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. and vice presidential candidate Mayor Inday Sara Duterte.
Alemania, Hagibis members, and veteran rock singer Mike Hanopol headed to the national headquarters and met with Marcos’ camp to show their support for his presidential bid.
The personalities offered to perform at UniTeam campaign rallies across the country, with Hanopol offering to sing some of his greatest hits in BBM-Sara UniTeam programs.
Alemania hoped to host the UniTeam program, and Hagibis intended to showcase their talents to BBM-Sara supporters together with other artists.
“We’re here to support Bongbong Marcos for his candidacy, ang ilan sa amin dito ay matagal nang supporters ni BBM, tumulong na sa kanya nu’ng siya ay tumatakbong senador at maging nu’ng kandidato siya pagka-bise presidente,” according to the group.
“Gusto namin tumulong sa BBM-Sara UniTeam, sa ganoong paraan ay maipakita namin ang aming pagmamahal sa bayan dahil naniniwala kami na ang tambalang BBM-Sara ang makakapagtuloy sa magandang nasimulan ni dating president Marcos at sa magaling na pamumuno ni Presidente Duterte,” they added.
It will be recalled that some big personalities in the showbiz industry were also spotted in the campaign rallies of BBM-Sara UniTeam, just like Toni Gonzaga, who hosted the proclamation rally of UniTeam at the Philippine Arena.
Gonzaga sang “Roar” with the lyrics “I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter,” while pointing towards Marcos at a UniTeam campaign gathering in Mandaluyong and Ilocos Norte province.
Even “Queen Mother” Karla Estrada is a supporter of BBM-Sara, and so are Aiko Melendez, Roderick Paulate, Dawn Zulueta, Lucy Torres, Randy Santiago, Wency Cornejo, Dulce, and countless more prominent artists.
Famous directors Paul Soriano, Toni Gonzaga’s wife, and Darry Yap, known for his unique content videos on social media, are also staunch supporters of UniTeam.
The group said they believe that many more celebrities will express unity and support for the tandem of Marcos and Duterte.
