YOU can catch live Bollywood performances and enjoy a night filled with fun, lights, and music as if you are in India without leaving the Philippines.

Celebrate Diwali, India’s largest celebration, at the PICC Forum in Pasay City on October 28 starting 7 p.m.

It’s a night filled with dances, songs, and performances a la Bollywood which will showcase Indian culture and entertainment.

Diwali is India’s most important festival of the year — a time to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil.

For some, Diwali is the beginning of a new year, but it is best known as the “Festival of Lights” because celebrants usually put burning clay lamps outside their homes.

The first of its kind in Manila, “Diwali Mela 2022” is brought to us by Filipino Indian Commerce and Welfare Society led by Mr. Manjinder James Kumar.

Kumar is a two-times recipient of the Philanthropist of the year by prestigious Asia Leaders Award.

It was organized in partnership with Happy Manila Entertainment headed by Mr. Happy Manila and Desi Matters Production led by Mr. Ravinder Singh.

The team will also mount big events next year, like Holi Philippines 2023, Baishakhi Festival, and Teej Festivals as they seek to bring India to the Philippines bigger and brighter than ever.
