Cavite turns over 25 mobile cars to CPPO

IMUS CITY, Cavite – The Cavite Police Provincial Office (CPPO) received 25 units of brand new Toyota Wigo patrol cars to boost its services to the public during the simple rites held at Camp General Pantaleon Garcia, (Cuartel) on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

Cavite Governor Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla Jr. led the turnover of new patrol cars to Cavite PPO under Provincial Director Police Col. Christopher Olazo, and witnessed by Calabarzon (Cavite/Laguna/Batangas/Rizal/Quezon) Regional (PRO 4-A) Director P/Brigadier Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.

The donated 25 patrol cars were worth around P14,035,000.

Remulla also endorsed to Cavite police UHF/FM Digital Repeater with GPS; 50 units of UHF/FM Digital Base Radio worth P2,800,850; 120 units of UHF/FM Mobile Radio worth P4,922,040; and 500 units of UHF/FM Digital Portable Radios worth P18,888,500.

According to Olazo, Bacoor police will get three patrol cars; Imus with three; Dasmariñas with three; Noveleta with three; Amadeo with two patrol cars; and Indang with one.

The rest will be distributed to S1, S3, S4; Tourist Police Units (TPU); Institute for Traffic Management (ITM); General Services Office (GSO); and Public Information Office (PIO) departments of the Cavite PPO.

“For now we have already has 533 patrol vehicles in the province, malaking impact na po ito sa Cavite Police, kaya na po natin bantayan ang bawat kanto, lahat ng mga bayan at lahat ng mga major thouroughfares sa Cavite, Mayroon na po tayong pang-araw at pang-gabi na duty police officers,” Olazo in his speech during the ceremony.

“We have six duty police officers, three in the morning and three in the evening with 12 hours duty na nakakatiyak po ang mga Caviteños na maayos ang pagpapanatili ng kaayusan dito sa lalawigan ng Cavite. Sa mga Chief of Police (CoPs), ang mga gamit na ito na ipinagkaloob ng Provincial Government, gamitin natin ito ng wasto at maging responsable at pag-maintian ng mga bigay ng naturang pamahalaang panglalawigan,” Olazo added.

Nartatez said the additional automobiles would enable personnel of Cavite PNP (Philippine National Police) to do their part to maintain peace and order and to respond to reports of criminalities in the province “swiftly.”

The Cavite governor declared that the province has “progressed over the years” and cited the contribution of peace and order conducted by the Cavite Police.
