CALOOCAN City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan commended the Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) for arresting more than 250 wanted persons in the first quarter of the year.

According to the report submitted by Caloocan Chief of Police Col. Ruben Lacuesta, 195 arrests were made under the wanted persons list while 53 were listed among the most wanted persons. In addition, seven individuals apprehended by CCPS belong to the top ten most wanted persons.

“Kabilang sa mga kaso ng mga naaresto natin ay robbery, carnapping, homicide, murder at rape. Mayroon din mga lumabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 at sa Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act,” said PCol. Lacuesta.

“This is a huge achievement for the Caloocan Police. Patunay na hindi sila nagpapabaya sa kanilang trabaho at tuloy ang pagsuporta nila sa ating panawagan na linisin ang listahan ng mga most wanted sa Caloocan,” said Mayor Malapitan.

The local chief executive also reiterated his call in making the city a peaceful place to live in for his constituents regardless of stature.

He likewise stated that the Caloocan City Peace and Order Council is drafting new resolutions and policies in order to intensify the anti-criminality campaign in the city.
