Batangas cops nab MWP hired gun
CAMP GEN. MIGUEL MALVAR, Batangas – Police the other day, arrested the most wanted person (MWP) in Calabarzon (Cavite/Laguna/Batangas/Rizal/Quezon) and an alleged member of the “Antonio Camo Gun for Hire Group” in Bgy. Banay Banay, Lipa City, Batangas.
In the report of Batangas PPO (Police Provincial Office) Provincial Director, P/Col. Glicerio C. Cansilao to PRO (Police Regional Office) Calabarzon Regional Director P/Brig. Gen. Antonio C. Yarra, the suspect identified as alias “Albert”, a native of Candelaria, Quezon and currently residing in Bgy. Emelda, San Juan, Batangas.
The suspect was handcuffed in Bgy. Banay Banay, Lipa City by the combined forces of the Provincial Intelligence Unit-(PIU) Batangas, Lipa City Police Station, San Juan Municipal Police Station, Naval Intelligence and Security Group Southern Luzon, and 1st Batangas Provincial Mobile Force Company at 12:50 p.m. on June 14.
The suspect was captured based on an arrest warrant issued by Branch 85, Lipa City, Batangas, for murder without bail and frustrated murder with P200,000 bail.
The incident occurred when the suspect killed Ronaldo M. Mendoza in 2018 in Bgy. Pinagkawitan, Lipa City.
According to the report, the “Antonio Camo Gun for Hire Group” operates in Batangas’ 2nd and 3rd districts.
“Your police will continue to pursue people wanted by the law. Inform the authorities of important information about people ‘hiding’ under the law to bring justice to their victims,” Brig. Gen. Yarra said.
