Romualdez at Kawit’s 124th Independence Day celebration
KAWIT, Cavite – Leyte 1st District Representative Ferdinand Martin (FM) Romualdez will be the guest of honor and speaker of the 124th Independence Day celebration here in Barangay Kaingen, June 12, 2022.
Romualdez will be accompanied by Cavite Governor Juanito Victor Remulla, Mayor Angelo Emilio Aguinaldo, and Dr. Emmanuel Calairo, NHCP (National Historical Commission of the Philippines) Commissioner, on the wreath-laying program at the tomb of General Emilio Aguinaldo at the back of the shrine and formal flag raising at the balcony of the shrine at 8:00 in the morning.
A civic parade will be held along the stretch of Tirona Highway from 7:00 in the morning, and the road is not passable to motorists until 11:00 a.m.
The local government unit (LGU) here advised observing health protocols by wearing face masks and maintaining physical distancing because the country is still under the pandemic.
