41 new COVID cases among Pinoys abroad

THE Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) yesterday said 41 new COVID-19 cases have been reported among Filipinos abroad.

There were three new recoveries and no fatalities, it said.

“This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases and recoveries among our nationals abroad to 18,457 and 11,292 respectively,” the DFA added.

Together with the Philippine Foreign Servicer Posts abroad, the DFA remains fully committed to monitoring and assisting Filipino nationals abroad amid the pandemic, it stressed.

DFA figures show 6,018 COVID-infected Filipinos abroad are still undergoing treatment and 1,147 succumbed to COVID-19 in 94 countries/territories.
