CAVITE CITY, Cavite – Residents were disturbed when another fire broke out in the so-called Sitio Cuadra in Barangay 22-M here, Tuesday night, March 1, 2022.

According to the report obtained by operatives of Cavite City Police under Police Lt. Colonel Gilbert Cruz, local police chief found out that a minor faulty electrical wiring short-circuited in the house of Elizabeth Rebechea and was immediately extinguished.

The incident caused panic among the residents of the said city due to a series of fires already taking place in the area for the past few weeks.

The first fire that occurred on February 12 in Sitio Palace left 700 evacuees, 150 families homeless at Barangay 10-A. Both evacuees are now in respective temporary shelters in Ladislao Diwa Elementary School and Sta. Cruz Elem. School while waiting for the financial aid from the local government office.
