“IS Guo Hua Ping and Alice Guo, are one and the same person?”

This was the question raised after Senator Sherwin Gatchalian said that Mayor Guo could also be Guo Hua Ping who according to documents allegedly entered the country last January 12, 2003.

In a text message, Gatchalian said based on the documents provided by the Board of Investments from the Guo’s family’s application for Special Investors Resident Visa (SIRV) and the Bureau of Immigration, Mayor Guo entered the country with her family when she was about 13 years old.

Gatchalian also cited the documents where it says that Guo Hua Ping’s registered biological mother under the SIRV is Lin Wenyi.

Gatchalian explained that this new discovery will strengthen the case against Mayor Guo and the Quo Warranto case against her is now valid and supported with proper documents.

Based on the Certificate of Candidacy (COC) filed by Mayor Guo, it says that she was born in Tarlac City on July 12, 1986.

But documents filed in SIRV revealed that her real nationality is Chinese and it was also indicated that she was born in Fujian August 31, 1990.

Gatchalian said they will present more evidence at the right time as he maintained that Mayor Guo will be held liable and accountable if the documents are found to be authentic.
