DEPUTY Speaker and Batangas Rep. Vilma Santos-Recto has decided not to run for any electoral post in next year’s polls.

“I have decided not to seek any elective post in the May 2022 elections,” Santos-Recto said.

Santos-Recto expressed gratitude to all her supporters for giving their trust and confidence in her.

Despite not running in 2022 elections, Santos-Recto said she will continue to serve the public.

“I have been serving the public for more than 23 years and I will continue to serve, in the best way I can, even in my private capacity,” Santos-Recto said.

“Tuloy pa rin ang trabaho at serbisyo,” Santos-Recto said.
