Truck driver slain in Cabanatuan City
A truck driver on Saturday was shot dead while standing at the public market in Bgy. San Isidro, Cabanatuan City.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, the Cabanatuan police identified the victim as Blessed Arnold Bombita, 44, a truck driver residing in Bgy. Sta. Teresita, Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija.
The victim was standing in front of a parked Isuzu 6-wheeler wing van truck when the suspects suddenly arrived on a motorcycle.
The backrider alighted then shot the victim three times, killing him on the spot.
The suspects fled after the shooting.
Police are reviewing the CCTV footages in the area for possible identification and arrest of the suspects.
