
Suspect in convenience store robbery falls
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A suspect in a recent armed robbery at a local convenience store in Sto. Tomas, Pampanga was arrested on Tuesday.
In a report to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., members of the Sto. Tomas police headed by Capt. Jester Calis launched an operation into the incident which led to the identification and arrest of the suspect.
Calis identified the suspect as Eddie Mutya, 25, of Bgy. Sto. Niño Sapa, Sto. Tomas, Pampanga.
Seized from Mutya were the stolen cash amounting to P3,310, powdered milk worth P1,656 and cigarettes worth P11,263.00.
“The swift apprehension of Mutya is a testament to the professionalism and dedication of our personnel. Their relentless pursuit of justice ensures that those who commit crimes in our community will be held accountable for their actions,” Hidalgo said.
