CABANATUAN CITY – The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Nueva Ecija has now under its custody a 22-year-old suspect who gave himself up to authorities here after a local court issued a warrant for his arrest for acts of lasciviousness he committed against his 18-year-old victim.

CIDG-NE head Major Alvin Christopher L. Baybayan said the suspect, of Jaen, Nueva Ecija, surrendered to the authorities on February 23.

Jaen Municipal Trial Court (MTC) Judge Ann Eillene Morales-Java issued his arrest warrant for acts of lasciviousness on February 21 with a recommended bail of P36,000 for his temporary liberty.

The complainant is a college student from Cabanatuan City who claimed in her affidavit that the suspect allegedly “touched” her breast against her will and also forced her to touch his private organ.

The incident occurred on July 30, 2022, when the suspect accompanied the victim to her boyfriend’s house on board the suspect’s car.

While riding in the car, the girl alleged that the suspect started asking her about “self-pleasure” and masturbation and even told her if he could touch her private parts or if she could give him a “blow job.”

In his defense, the suspect denied the accusations and claimed that what happened between them was “consensual.”

The arrest warrant was issued against the suspect by the MTC Jaen after the Nueva Ecija provincial prosecutor’s office headed by Bener O. Bauto earlier found “probable cause” in recommending that the suspect be indicted for acts of lasciviousness based on the said information.
