According to SPD director Brigadier Gen. Mark D. Pespes, their 8th Warrant Day on Friday netted 55 persons wanted for various criminal offenses in the southern part of Metro Manila.

He said that four of the suspects were listed as Top Most Wanted Persons respectively in Pasay and Parañaque cities. A 5th was tracked down in his hiding place in Muntinlupa City.

Thirteen others who were listed in the Most Wanted Persons’ category were caught in Makati, Pasay, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas and Parañaque cities.

The rest were described as Other Wanted Persons who were apprehended in the five cities and Pateros municipality.

Meanwhile, two ‘high-value targets’ in Metro Manila identified as Sojod Kamendan,20; and Hadjisidik Mando,22, were arrested during a buy-bust operation on Manuel L. Quezon Street in Barangay Lower Bicutan in Taguig City.

The suspects yielded six heat-sealed plastic sachets containing 305 grams of shabu valued at P2,074,000.

They were charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 for the sale and possession of prohibited drugs.
