SM Foundation conducts medical mission in Bgy. South Triangle
RESIDENTS of Barangay South Triangle in Quezon City were the beneficiaries of SM Foundation’s second mission for the month of May.
The medical mission was conducted in partnership with SMDC and the Philippine Red Cross at the barangay covered court.
Medical consultations were conducted by two volunteer doctors and Dr. Maria Blesilla “Bless” Bertos, SM Foundation Senior Project Manager who handles medical missions.
Residents also took advantage of other medical services such as x-ray, ECG, blood tests; sugar, cholesterol and uric acid tests, among others. Patients found to be at risk of developing serious health conditions were advised by doctors on proper diet and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
The medical missions benefitted 164 patients.
