SAN Miguel Beer walked the tightrope before beating Magnolia 100-98, and extend its winning streak to four games in the PBA Governrs’ Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Import Cameron Clark provided the.offensive muscle for San miguro, leading a balanced attack by the Beermen with 19 points om 9-of-14 shooting and 10 rebounds in 42 minutes of action.

Marcio Lassiter added 18 points, four assists and four rebounds, CJ Perez tallied 17 markers and the six-time PBA MVP June Mar Fajardo had a double-double performance with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Jericho Cruz and Simon Enciso chipped in 13 and 12 points, respectively for the Beermen of coach Jorge Gallent.

Veteran Paul Lee led the losing effort of the Hotshots with 19 points on 7-of-16 shooting and four assists in 36 minutes on the floor.

Jio Jalalon added 17 points, seven rebounds, six steals and five assists for coach Chito Victolero.

Mark Barroca and import Erik McCree had 13 points each and Calvin Abueva had 11 points and seven rebounds.

” Magnolia is a very strong and well-organized team, so this was really a big game for us,” said San Miguel coach Jorge Gallent.

“I told the players to forget about the first three games because Magnolia is really a strong and good team. So it’s good we won tonight and beat a strong team.”
