‘Revitalized’ Kasimbayanan kicks off in Cavite
IMUS CITY, Cavite – Following the successful launch of “Kasimbayanan” (Police, Church, and Community) by the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters, the Cavite Police Provincial Office (CPPO) also conducted the official launch of “Revitalized Kasimbayanan” held at the Imus Sports Complex of Imus City in Barangay Poblacion II-B here, Friday, October 7, 2022, led by Cavite Police Director Police Colonel Christopher Olazo.
Revitalized Kasimbayanan aims to unite the police, church, and community towards a progressive and peaceful community attended by various religious groups, including the Muslim community, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), chiefs of police of seven cities and 16 towns, and Cavite police provincial staff.
Part of the program is the presentation of the Kasimbayanan audio-visual production, the announcement of the “pledge of commitment and support”, ceremonial signing at the Kasimbayanan board, and the placement of Kasimbayanan pins on everyone who attended the revitalized launching.
The leaders were also given the opportunity to speak on behalf of each sector that expressed full support for the said program. It was also a rare opportunity to see faith-based leaders united in their participation in the church and put aside differences in spiritual beliefs first.
Olazo also led the signing of the commitment wall for the said program, which the program participants followed.
