Region 1 cops nab 3 drug suspects
POLICE Regional Office (PRO)-1 director Brigadier General Lou Evangelista on Saturday said three drug suspects were arrested in Pangasinan and P33,000 worth of shabu were seized from the three.
One of the suspects, alias Paminta, 38, was arrested in Brgy. San Jose in Urdaneta City and yielded an estimated P27,000 worth of shabu.
A 50-year-old vendor from Lingayen was also arrested and P6,000 worth of shabu was recovered from the suspect.
The 3rd victim, a 55-year-old tricycle driver from Dagupan City, was arrested in Brgy. Banzal in Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan. The suspect yielded a small amount of shabu.
All the three accused are now facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
