QCPD’s anti-criminality drive bags 24

TWENTY-four lawbreakers were arrested by the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) in separate anti-criminality operations conducted by different stations.

Reports reaching the office of QC top cop Brig. Gen. Nicolas D. Torre III, showed that of the number, eight were wanted persons facing charges ranging from homicide to acts of lasciviousness and disobedience, violence against women and children down to illegal gambling among others.

On the other hand, in the continuous campaign against illegal drugs, 16 drug peddlers were also apprehended in separate buy-bust operations by the various police stations where operatives seized an aggregate value of shabu worth P131,920, buy-bust money, and several drug paraphernalia were confiscated from the suspects.

“Ating ipagpatuloy na tugisin at sugpuin ang mga ganitong ipinagbabawal na gawain at krimen sa ating lungsod para mapanatili ang kaayusan at kapayapaan sa Quezon City”, the QCPD top cop said.
