PRO3 cops arrest 4 most wanted criminals
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Central Luzon police on Wednesday arrested four individuals listed as most wanted persons.
Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. identified the arrested suspects as Joey Canto, Jomari Garcia, Genesis Velarde, and Ivan Kenneth Butalid.
Canto is Tarlac’s no. 9 most wanted felon facing charges for violation of Sec. 32 of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act while Garcia is the no. 1 most wanted for violation of Republic Act 9165or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Velarde is the Top 2 most wanted in the City of San Jose Del Monte in Bulacan charged for four counts of acts of lasciviousness, with P180,000 bail recommended for each case; while Butalid is listed as most wanted person over cases of acts of lasciviousness and rape.
Hidalgo said the arrests serve as a testament to the intelligence-driven operations and the unwavering dedication of the police force in the region.
He commended his men for their efforts in bringing in individuals sought by the law to justice.
