PRO 7 policemen jail 4 drug suspects
POLICE Regional Office (PRO)-7 director Brigadier General Anthony A. Aberin on Friday announced the arrest of four drug targets in Central Visayas and the seizure of nearly P12.2 million worth of high-grade shabu.
In a report to Philippine National Police chief, General Benjamin C. Acorda Jr., the official said that suspect Rogelio Gajudo yielded a total of 1.025 kilos of shabu worth P6.970 million when arrested along Manuel L. Quezon St. in Brgy. Maguikay in Mandaue City, Cebu around 12:13 a.m. Friday.
Recovered from his possession were 10 plastic packets containing a kilo of shabu.
The 2nd suspect, Wilfredo Paradela II, yielded 350 grams of shabu worth P2.380 million when arrested in Brgy. Uling, Naga City, Cebu past 10:25 p.m. Thursday.
The suspect was found in possession of five plastic sachets containing the prohibited drugs, the marked money and a weighing scale when arrested.
The two other suspects, Egie Relampagos alias Ajay/Kong-Kong, 30, and Randy Daan alias Jakilo, 34, were found in possession of 600 grams of shabu worth P4.080 million during their arrest in Bgy. Tangke, Talisay City in Cebu shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday.
Recovered from the duo were 12 plastic sachets containing the drugs, a caliber 9mm semi-automatic pistol with a loaded magazine and a holster.
